urban mobility consultant

Every day, we use public space as a place to be and stay. We do so as pedestrians, cyclists, drivers or seated in public transport. At the same time, in the same public space, we go to the local market, eat apple pie on a terrace and play in a playground. These various possibilities for using public space lead to some complex challenges for our cities.

It is precisely these issues that excite me to get moving. At Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, I followed my Bachelor's degree in Spatial Development - Mobility with a specialisation in the field of pedestrians. In early 2021, I graduated with a research project at the municipality of Amersfoort on the urban walking and trails network, resulting in a handbook for the development of urban walking and trails.

I have been working as a consultant at Goudappel since February 2021. I have a broad scope of traffic expertise and am constantly looking for new knowledge to develop myself, with a focus on urban challenges. I work on a variety of projects: from strategic visions for the future of cities as well as smaller-scale traffic studies and redevelopment projects.
