Edith Goderis
mobility & spatial planning consultant
I am convinced that sustainable mobility enhances the quality of daily life and contributes to a healthier and more inclusive society. My passion lies in developing sustainable and accessible mobility systems that make cities more liveable.
With an MSc in Sustainable Urban Mobility Transitions – organised by EIT Urban Mobility and completed at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona) and Aalto University (Helsinki) – and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, I have developed a strong technical foundation complemented by a human-centred, integrated approach to mobility. This combination enables me to examine mobility challenges and transport systems from multiple perspectives and to contribute to innovative, sustainable, and inclusive solutions for urban environments.
At Goudappel, I work as an consultant on mobility and spatial planning. In this role, I am involved in issues related to urban development and analytical mobility challenges. My broad background, both academically and through international experience, allows me to effectively tackle complex and context-specific challenges, and develop creative, innovative solutions.
The diversity of colleagues and their wide-ranging expertise make it possible to work on varied and inspiring projects. Through this collaboration, I can apply my skills and knowledge to arrive at sustainable and integrated solutions.
