In the field of mobility, our ambition is to be at the forefront of enriching and visualising data, as well as developing new methodologies for traffic forecasting. In doing so, we provide our clients with the insights they need to make informed decisions that contribute to broader prosperity – in the Netherlands and across borders.

My main challenge is to bridge the gap between the wealth of available data sources and the decision-making information that policymakers require. I do this by leading a diverse team of data scientists, methodology developers and software engineers, while also listening closely to the needs of policymakers. The best results come from combining knowledge development, collaboration, motivation and innovative strength. Often, it starts with designing prototypes that we further develop into full-fledged products or services. Our traffic modelling software, OmniTRANS Expert, and the mobility data from our own datasource 'the Mobility Spectrum' are fine examples of this.     

For me, working at Dat.mobility means working on the digital transition – a transition that opens up countless new opportunities. I am convinced that if we make the most of these opportunities, we can help create a better society, especially when it comes to the environment, climate, accessibility and quality of life. Contributing to this – together with dedicated colleagues and professionals in the field – is what motivates me every day.
